Privacy Notice

How we handle your information when you use Ai Money Saver.

Last updated 1 August 2026 · Liyana Consultancy Services Limited, trading as Ai Money Saver

1. Who we are

Liyana Consultancy Services Limited, a company registered in England & Wales and trading as "Ai Money Saver", is the data controller for the personal data described in this notice. That means we decide what data is collected and why. You can contact us about privacy using the contact details on our site.

2. Our privacy-first approach to statements

We do not run accounts and we do not operate a customer database. Bank statement files you upload are read in your own browser; only the extracted text is sent to our analysis service to produce your report. We do not save your statement, the extracted text, or your finished report after the assessment is returned to you. If you close the page, the report is gone.

3. What we collect, why, and our legal basis

  • Financial information you submit (income, outgoings, statement transaction text — which may include merchant names, dates and amounts, and can reveal spending patterns). Purpose: to generate your assessment. Legal basis: performance of our contract with you. Processed transiently, not stored.
  • Contact and order data (name, email, billing country, order reference, partial card details) — collected and held by Paddle, not by us. Purpose: to take payment, issue receipts, handle refunds and meet tax obligations. Legal basis: contract and legal obligation.
  • Technical and usage data (IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, error logs). Purpose: to run the site securely, prevent fraud and abuse, and fix problems. Legal basis: our legitimate interests in a secure, working service.
  • Support messages you send us. Purpose: to answer you. Legal basis: legitimate interests.

Please avoid pasting information you do not need to share — the assessment only needs transaction lines, not account numbers.

4. Who we share data with

  • Paddle — our Merchant of Record, who handles the sale, payments, tax compliance, invoicing and refunds.
  • Hosting and infrastructure providers who run the website and its servers on our behalf.
  • AI analysis providers who process the text of your budget or statement to generate the report, under contract and only for that purpose.
  • Professional advisers (legal, accounting) where necessary.
  • Authorities where we are required to disclose by law.

We do not sell your personal data or share it for third-party marketing.

5. International transfers

Some of our providers process data outside the UK/EEA. Where that happens we rely on UK adequacy regulations or on standard contractual clauses with appropriate safeguards, so your data receives an equivalent level of protection.

6. How long we keep data

Budget and statement content is processed transiently and is not retained once your report is produced. Technical and security logs are kept for a short period (typically up to 30 days) and then deleted. Order and tax records held by Paddle are kept for as long as the law requires (generally six years). Support correspondence is deleted once the matter is closed and no longer needed. Anything no longer needed is deleted or anonymised.

7. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls, and minimising what we collect and keep in the first place. No system is perfectly secure, but not storing your financial data is our strongest safeguard.

8. Cookies

We use only essential cookies and similar storage needed to run the site and complete checkout securely. We do not use advertising cookies. Payment pages may set cookies controlled by Paddle. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though checkout may then not work.

9. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent where we rely on it. To exercise any of these, contact us and we will respond within one month. Because we do not store assessments, we may hold little or no data about you; order data requests may need to be directed to Paddle.

You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

10. Changes to this notice

We may update this notice from time to time and will publish the current version on this page.
